Fighting for Families. Standing Up for Fairness.
A council that empowers people.
Harry is a father of three and a long-time resident of Clarkson. He and his wife Alexa are raising their family in the northern suburbs because they believe in the power of local community — and they've spent years helping to strengthen it from the ground up.
Harry serves as Chair of the Somerly Primary School Board, runs a local playgroup supporting young families, and actively contributes to initiatives as a proud member of Rotary Mindarie, through the P&C, and the Fathering Project. As a carer of a child with additional needs, he has become a passionate advocate for families navigating the education and health systems — standing up for fairness, equity, and the best possible outcomes for children.
Professionally, Harry is a software engineer and systems designer with a deep belief in openness, fairness, and practical problem-solving. He has seen firsthand how systems can fail communities — and he hasn't hesitated to call out injustice. In his career, Harry has confronted and spoken out against corruption, choosing integrity and transparency over silence. That same willingness to speak up for what's right is what he brings to public service.
Harry believes the council must do more than manage roads and regulations — it must be an enabler of community. That means putting residents first, backing families, creating opportunities for all, and ensuring every voice is heard. He is determined to make council decisions more open, more inclusive, and more responsive to the people they affect.
"I believe in a Council that empowers people — one that listens with honesty, acts with integrity, and fights for families. I'll never stay quiet when children, families, or communities are being let down. Together, we can build a stronger, fairer, and more connected Wanneroo."
A modern, inclusive, and community-first City of Wanneroo
Harry believes in a City of Wanneroo where families are supported, residents feel heard, and every decision delivers real, visible value.
Council should do more than manage roads and rubbish — it should help our community thrive through sustainable planning and family-focused services.
Harry will champion open decision-making, timely communication, and digital tools that let you track council projects and priorities in real time.
"We need a council that doesn't just act — but acts transparently, fairly, and with your voice at the centre."
Six priority areas where Harry will fight for our community
I will hold the council and the Mindarie Regional Council accountable for ongoing odour and emissions from Tamala Park. I'll fight for proper monitoring, transparency, and a binding closure timeline during my term.
I'll push for a formal review of the 'eco-tourism' development that went ahead against community wishes, and fight to keep our coast accessible, sustainable, and community-focused.
I'll advocate for practical programs that support families in the early years and over school holidays, working with schools, health services, and community groups to close service gaps and give children a stronger start.
I’ll advocate to replace ageing overhead powerlines in Quinns Rocks with safer, more reliable underground power. I’ll work with the State Government, Western Power, and the City to keep this upgrade on the agenda and push for real progress.
I'll focus on practical upgrades to footpaths, streetlights, traffic safety, and maintenance — and ensure ratepayer money goes to what matters most to locals.
I'll make sure Council takes real action on Clarkson's recurring flooding issues by pushing for drainage reviews, mitigation works, and community consultation.
